Celebrating the End of a Record Year for Westminster Venue Collection
2025 was a record year for Westminster Venue Collection, with total enquiry value reaching £3.8 million – a year-on-year increase of 27%.
We also welcomed new Chair, Clare Davies, at our AGM at Lumiere London – The Embassy: “It’s fantastic to be joining as Chair, and I’m excited to build on this momentum with our new board. Westminster’s exceptional venues provide event organisers with unparalleled options in one of the world’s most prestigious locations. Our strategic marketing initiatives and industry presence have driven impressive results for our expanding membership.”
We celebrated our successes with the power of bringing the WVC community together for two special members events: a Christmas meet up kindly hosted by One Great George Street, followed by a January meet up at Church House Westminster to welcome in the New Year!
December Meet Up at One Great George Street
We spoke to the Business Development Manager of One Great George Street, Anthony Kwokori, about why they volunteered to host our Christmas event.
“It was my absolute pleasure to host the Westminster Venue Collection. I’m pretty new to One Great George Street and new to Westminster. So, on a personal level, I’m really excited to meet so many people from the collection.”
When asked what Anthony was most excited about during the evening, he said: “I’m really excited to showcase our venue to everyone, because from an accessibility and sustainability perspective, there’s so many developments we have in this venue that I was excited for people to see, as it means we’re able to provide accessibility with dignity to our delegates.”
Some of these developments include:
- A platform lift with integrated steps, allowing access via the main entrance of the building
- Three sets of accessible toilets on different floors
- Uncarpeted floors on the main access routes through the building and many meeting rooms, enabling ease of manoeuvrability for wheelchair users.
The reception was hosted in the Council Room, with several tours of the venue taking place throughout the evening. Highlights of the tour included visiting their largest event space, the Great Hall, and the interconnecting Library with over 130,000 titles dating back to the 15th century.

Catering & Hospitality at One Great George Street
Throughout the evening, our hosts provided an excellent selection of canapés, bowl foods and beverages crafted by their award-winning internal catering team.
When asked about the drinks provided during the evening, Anthony said: “We recently launched the One Great George Street House Gin, which we were really excited for members to sample. We produce our own coffee, so we’ve got the One Great George Street coffee, which members were able to sample too.”

January Meet Up at Church House Westminster
We spoke to Head of Business Development & Marketing of Church House Westminster, Marina Papadopoulou, about hosting the first members’ event of 2026.
“This is the first event of the year for Church House Westminster, and it couldn’t be anything other than hosting the Westminster Venue Collection members’ event. I’m so happy to have 55 members in the collection, and it’s lovely to see everyone having a relaxed time before the busy period starts for 2026.”

Catering at Church House Westminster
Church House Westminster’s in-house catering team, Searcys, offered delicious canapés and bowl food dishes, showcasing the best seasonal produce sourced responsibly.
To celebrate the New Year, they even created a bespoke mocktail for the event: “At Church House, we are always thinking outside of the box. We have created a dedicated mocktail called Charles Grey to celebrate our first networking event.”
Named after the British politician who served as prime minister from 1830 to 1834, this mocktail redefines a classic, combining a bold Assam tea with notes of orange blossom, vanilla, and floral bergamot.
